Most of our guests can never return home. They fled leaving everything and now must start anew. They are committed to freedom and democracy. These men, women and children desire to share their rich and varied gifts and talents as new Americans. Our daily life at Freedom House is filled with challenges and times of great hope and joy that relate not only to each individual's pain and concerns but also to the overall well being of this micro-global community. We have many opportunities to learn to appreciate each other, to learn how to manage conflict in a productive way, to learn how to respect we each other's cultures and religious traditions and to learn how to work together.
Many ways to help us in our mission exist:
Your generous financial support will allow the mission and work of Freedom House to continue. We are all citizens of the Earth and we are all called upon to help others in need. May we continue to learn to live deeply this truth as a city, a country and a global community.
